FUN.

One goal assist, a mark, and a goal after the siren, for the wonderful Alex Fasolo. All in about 10 minutes.

Poor Reidy was injured, so little Faz got to come in and warm up the bench.
Then, when Didak had run his little heart out in his 200th, they sent Fasolo on at about the 15-minute mark of the 4th quarter.
And that was a great decision! After seriously lacking in the goal department on the 4th quarter, Faz handballed to Lukey Ball, and BAM. Straight into the prelim, watch out Daisy and Reidy, your spots are totally not there. :P

Oh and who said Neon Leon couldn't play finals? WHO?
Leon was fabulous, as per usual. :D
Basically the whole defence was good, so who needs Reid?

Pretty sure Collingwood escaped without an injury. Epic win.
(Although, idk why Didak was subbed off, maybe just resting his tired little legs? And apparently Toovey had some "medical issues" but I hope those are okay.)
(Speaking of Tooves, he's up for a logie with his Neighbours role of Creepy Pervy Guy #1. Maybe even a recurring role?)

Alex Fasolo ftw~.

Thursday, September 8, 2011

It sucks when you get kicked out of the team because the coach prefers a player that either has a broken thumb, coming back from a hamstring injury, or hasn't played in 8 weeks.

But don't you worry, Alex Fasolo is still amazing. :D

Anyway, I hope Collingwood can beat West Coast on Saturday. :D

Cooool.

Did I mention how I got 8 in my footy tipping last weekend?
Well, I DID.
:P

And my Dream Team won, and is now in the Top 8 on the ladder! Go me.
And for the last home-and-away Dream Team round, I am playing one of the bottom teams.
All I have to do is thrash the poor sucker, and 6th place is MINE.
So bubbly-making.

In other news, I'm reading the Uglies series at the moment.
It is very exciting.
I'm up to the 3rd book, Specials.
Basically, I totally shipped Tally & David, and then when Zane came along.. Well, Zane kind of rocked my world.

And Dr Cable is awful. But that's her job, so I guess it's okay.
But it's not Maddy's job to be cruel, yet she is so mean to Tally.
Okay, her husband died and it was all Tally's fault. Fair enough. But it's not ALL Tally's fault. Yes, she betrayed the Smoke, I get it. But Maddy knew about the risks of escaping the city, she knew what the Specials would do to someone who knows the truth about the operation.
She KNEW.
Why is she being a bitch to Tally?
Because Tally ruined her and her family's life and home?
Because David loves Tally so much and Tally goes and dates another guy?
Because David still has feelings for Tally, pretty or not?

Screw Maddy.
No wonder Tally didn't choose David at the end of the Pretties book.
It wasn't to do with Zane's big beautiful eyes, and his gorgeous pretty face.
It wasn't that David was ugly and Tally didn't want to look at him.
It was his MOTHER. His psycho-bitch mother, controlling him, informing him that pretty people aren't the same as when they were ugly.
Well, Maddy, I think Tally has proved that she CAN be the same, due to some bubbly activities and whatever, you're totally wrong. Go away.

A bit of a rant and a few spoilers, but DEAL WITH IT. :P
Also, Zane is a really cool name. I want one of my children to be named Zane. Or, as I will be a crazy cat lady in the future, one of my cats.

FUN.

Collingwood are one step closer to being Top Of The Ladder again.

Because Essendon beat the pussy cats.
Hahahaha.
:P

Basically, Collingwood and Geelong have the same amount of losses and once Geelong have their second bye, we're moving on up to higher ground, where the grass is greener, the view is magnificent, and the food is fabulous. We don't have to sit underneath, waiting for the scraps, having poop and kitty litter falling on our heads.

It will be marvelous.

COOOOL.

And Jack Watts ruins my footy tipping YET AGAIN.
How was I meant to know that Richmond were worse than Melbourne?
How was I meant to know that Jack Watts would kick 3 goals and play really really well?
How was I meant to know the umpires would favour the crap out of Melbourne?
HOWWW?

Anyway, I gots some luck.
Cyril Rioli and Brad Sewell won't play next week due to injuries.
Hahahaha.
That's a few less things to worry about. :P

La la laaaaaa.
Yay for New York!
Marriage equality ftw!
:D
Let out the gay within.

Quick update

My Dream Team won.
Supercoach lost.
I got 7 in my footy tipping.

But I totally would've tipped 8, if the Demons weren't so mean.
Just because Freo hasn't won a game at the MCG since Jesus was here, that doesn't mean ANYTHING.

Gosh, Jack Watts, just because I like you, doesn't mean you can go around thrashing Freo's pants off. Rude.

Wednesday, June 15, 2011

Well, the injury-prone footballers are almost back from their trip to the Magical Gypsy Land of Healing.

Although, the pixies and fairy dust floating around the place must have worn off, because Nathan J Brown had hurted his other knee. Great. :/

Anyway, I had an exam today and the guy next to me had a container of Tiny Teddies on his desk.
I could've leaned over and stolen one, but they'd accuse me of cheating. Whatever.

I will just have to survive with cheap chocolate bars and Goulbern Valley smoothies. Only $1. Cheap method for getting fat. :P

BIG NEWS.

My Supercoach won its FIRST game.
ITS FIRST GAME.
FIRST.

Okay, I was playing the team on the bottom of the ladder. Whatever.
My team is still good.
I won with a shit captain, who got injured in the first quarter. Thanks for that, Goddard, you've taught me never to trust a guy who had his face run over by a steam roller. :P

As for other footy news, Melbourne and Freo both lost. :(
But Collingwood managed a good win, thrashing the Eagles by 50-something points, hahahaha.
GROUP HUG!!!111 :D

Dale Thomas, who was BOG, totally kicked Goal of the Year, and then took a good mark too.
Don't worry about the car, Daisy, JUST TAKE THE WHOLE BUS.

Crack kicked a super goal too. Two goals, in fact. Then, he hurted his arm, poor thing.

Speaking of goals, Maxy kicked an awesom-- oh wait, it didn't count, due to him kicking it through West Coast's goals. Oops.

And apparently, Maxy and Heath Shaw had a "heated discussion" at 3/4 time.
Hm.
Not sure what it was about, but I'm guessing it may have been about Maxwell's "holding" of Nic Nat, holding him back, holding his arms when he didn't have the ball... YES, I SAW THAT MAXY AND AREN'T YOU LUCKY THAT THE UMPIRES DIDN'T. :P

I just think Heath Shaw may have been telling Maxy off, because earlier in the game, Dawes got a free kick because Darren Glass was holding his arm. I mean, the umpires are good at seeing who's holding who and such. ...I think.

Sorry to bore you all, I'm done now. :P

FAIL WHALE.

Well, that was a shit weekend of footy.

Collingwood lost.
Melbourne lost.
Freo lost.
My Dream Team lost.
My Supercoach lost.
I only got 3 in footy tipping.

Let's just forget this all happened, and pretend it was a horrible nightmare. The ladder will remain how it was at the end of Round 7, and the whole Geelong team will be flushed down their own stupid potty. :P

COLLINGWOOD AND RED POWERADE. WINNING.

Krakouer and S.Buckley doused in red powerade. Welcome to the team, boys.

Anyway, Collingwood beat Port Adelaide today. 75-point victory. Sweeeet.

Collingwood were totally owning for the first half, Swanny had three goals and 92 Dream Team points.
Then, in the 3rd quarter, Port Adelaide was all like, "I'mma blow this joint" and kicked about 8 goals to get within 16 points. It was like, "Whoa, scary Port" but luckily, Collingwood topped off the quarter with around 4 goals. :D.

The 4th quarter was pretty much Collingwood extending their lead. I think Port Adelaide kicked 1 goal. Hahaha. :P

And Krak, on his debut, got 96 Dream Team points and his goal was AMAZING. I didn't see it, but the radio commentators were good at describing it. Pretty much, Krak dodged a few opponents and then surprised them all by kicking the ball on the outside of his boot, kicking a sort-of banana.

Swanny went a little quiet in the 2nd half, but oh well, he still made over 100 in the Dream Team and he's my CAPTAIN so it got DOUBLED.
La la la.

Pretty good game, you guys. Maybe the defenders could've been slightly better, but hey, a good start to the season. :)
Top of the ladder, yo!

NAB CUP.

Footy is back!
Just the NAB Cup, but whatever.

Melbourne played on Friday night against both South Australia teams. And they won both games. Hahahaha. :).
Then, Collingwood played Carlton and Richmond, and beat both of them. :P

Dayne Beams with some back-bending and handballing skillz.

If you look very carefully at the photo, you can see Beams' new tattoo on the top of his leg.
Not sure if he has a premiership tattoo, but whatever. Instead of a simple one like the others, Beams will probably get some impressive and colourful artwork to depict the awesomeness of winning a Grand Final.

Anyway, it was a pretty cool match although Madagascar was on at the same time, and then The Naked Gun was on. I really need to sort out my priorities. :/.

Also, some of the rules were a bit weird. Like whoever is the last one to touch the ball before it goes out of bounds gets the free kick against them. They should just stick to the normal rules, that they have had for a long time and everyone is used to it.

Plus, they brought in the "third umpire". Like, Chris Dawes kicked a goal and the umpire went to the "third umpire" to check if it was a legit goal. It was, but it took FOREVER for them to check this. I hope they don't do this in the real football games. idk.

And then, last but not least, the interchange rules. For the real football matches, the AFL have brought in a NEW rule where there's only 3 on the bench and 1 substitute player (who wears a fluoro green vest). They want to limit the amount of interchanges each team does. Seriously? This rule will INCREASE the amount of interchanges, because there will only be 3 on the bench, meaning the players will want to be rested more often. And the substituted player is not allowed to play unless someone gets injured.

Why does the AFL make these rules? The rushed behind rule, the interchange rule, push in the back rule (last night, Taz just slightly touched someone's shoulder and the umpire gave the other guy a free kick. Taz did NOTHING. Just TOUCHED his shoulder. And another time, Taz shepherded so Steele could mark the ball but the umpire wasn't happy with the shepherd because Taz "bumped" him out the way. What even.) etc etc.

Whatever. :(.

So yeah.
Collingwood and Melbourne are into Round 2 of NAB Cup. :D.

STUFF.

My predictions for the first Grand Final were all wrong. WHAT EVEN.
It was actually a draw, Lenny Hayes won the Norm Smith, and Jolly who kicked the first goal.

So, I have a chance to redeem myself.

Predictions for Grand Final 2.0:
Winner: Collingwood.
Norm Smith: Dale Thomas. (or, as I said last week, Scotty Pendlebury.)
First goal kicked: Travis Cloke. (A chance to redeem himself. He'll kick the first 10 goals.)

La la la.
:).

And yeah.
Glee was on last night!
It was the Britney Spears one. And the Glee Club members went to the dentist (I know, riveting) and get put under anesthesia and then they have dreams of dancing with Britney Spears!
Cool, right?

Anyway, it was such a good episode.
But I really want Emma and Will to be together. idk. When they were in the car and Terri came along, I was like, "OH, TERRI, YOU COULDN'T HAVE PICKED A BETTER TIME?"
What even.

And I want Artie and Tina to be together. And Artie is on the football team! Hell yeah!
They are going to use him as a battering ram because he's in a wheelchair and stuff.
:).

Tina better pay him some attention now. Damn right.

Anyhoo, I shall stop rambling about Glee. Whatever. :P.

PICTURES.

My collage pictures are awesome. :D.
The first one is with some of my favourite footy players. My bf, Harry, Jack Anthony, Tarkyn Lockyer, Juddy, Buddy, my twin, Richo and Dayne Beams.
I was bored, stfu.

And this next one features my favourite cricket players. :D.
Such as: My bff, Andrew McDonald (ranga), Cameron White (BundyRum), Little Huss, David Warner, MHuss and Shane Watson.

And yeah. Enjoy! ^_____^

BIRTHDAYSSS~! JS.

Oh, look, Timothy Commandeur (the drummer of Operator Please) turns 19 on Monday. Yes, it's an old photo but whatev. I totally follow him on Twitter and I requested to be his friend on Facebook. :)

AND GUESS WHOSE BIRTHDAY IS TOMORROW??

DALE THOMASSSSS! He turns 22. ^________^

And he shall kick 1 BILLION GOALS against the Swans.

Speaking of kicking goals, Jack Watts kicked 2 goals last night. His team still lost but whatev.

WHY IS EVERYTHING IN THIS BLOG SPREAD OUT SO MUCH??? WHYYYY?

Anyhoo, Before The Game is on tonight and newlywed Rove is on Sunday night. WITH THE HILARIOUS SHAUN MICALLEF~! And Green Day will be performing. ^________^

ROVE AND OTHER AWESOME STUFF.

Okay.
I watched Rove yesterday (and the end of Masterchef).
Justine won the challenge-y thingy on Masterchef. PUT THAT IN YOUR BEER AND CHEW IT, CHRIS!! ^___^
Rove was really funny. Like when Ross Noble was telling his story of the vegan-vegetarian stalls who didn't have any sausage rolls. :)
And Isabel Lucas and Lily Allen were awesome. LOL.
AND GUESS WHO IS ON ROVE NEXT WEEK?
Shaun Micallef.
Yes.
Omigod.
And Green Day are performing. Yes, I know who my enemy is. Thank you for asking, Billy Joe.
Also, guess whose birthday is on June 21st???
Some clues: He plays for the awesomest team EVERRR.

The people on TAYG tomorrow aren't very exciting. I either don't know them or, well, I've never heard of them. (Those two reasons are the same but whatev).

Even though it's a split round, I won't get 8 in my footy tipping because Hawthorn lost. Epic fail.
Oh well. My Dream Team will, hopefully, win. Because I has Dale Thomas and Jack Watts and Buddy Franklin and Chris Judd and Jimmy Bartel and many more awesome players. (Did I just mention Judd in that list? Because he is not awesome. js.)

TAYG IS ON TOMORROW!
Epic win.
With some guy called Kram in Gen X, some model or something in Gen Y, and some Play School person in Baby Boomers. (After doing a bit of googling, Kram is the guy who sings, "WHOA BLACK BETTY, BAMA LAMB.... BLACK BETTY HAD A CHILD, BAMA LAMB... SOMETHING SOMETHING... WHOA BLACK BETTY, BAMA LAMB~!")
Wow~, this should be a good night of TAYG. LOLLLLL.

JACK WATTS.

It's Jack Watts! He looks a bit like Zafron in that picture. Like, when Zafron was jumped off the bridge and he ended up as a 17-year-old. :)
Jack Watts played well, though. Okay, he didn't get the ball much but still. His first touch in AFL was when he was being sandwiched by two Collingwood players. JACK WATTS SAMMICH, OM NOM NOM.
Collingwood won, js.
And my Dream Team won too.
Jack Watts made about 24 for my Dream Team. (But he was an emergency so his score was included).
Oh and when I was watching the footy, the commentators were like, "He had his hands full with Dick." And also, Robert Walls goes, "Swan, goes for Dick... and has got him." And I lol'd. #timetogrowup

TAYG is on tonight.
Y'know who would be good on TAYG?
Mike, Bree or Fitzy.
STFU, I'm really missing Friday Night Live, okay?
Masterchef just isn't the same. People who are stressing over cooking some food is not the same as a 20-year-old bogan running around desperately trying to win a random trophy and delegate chores to all the other bogans just so they can sit on their butt all day and sun bake.
The only contestant on Masterchef who came close to being like a Big Brother contestant was Kate. And that's because she whinged all the time and everyone hated her (except for me).

Anyhoo, I'm sure TAYG will be awesome tonight. Josh Thomas is awesomizzle. ^______^

And yeah.
I got 7 in my footy tipping, btw~.
So, put that in your plastic cup and chew it! :P

Sunday, May 17, 2009

OMG.

I turned on the TV last night to watch Rove and Masterchef was still on.
So, on Masterchef, they were saying who was in the bottom 3, blah blah blah, idk, blah, blah blah. And one of the judges had a voice EXACTLY like Severus Snape. idk.
Funny.

Anyway, Rove was awesome.
Some of the highlights (or whatever I can remember):
  • HAYDO. While interviewing Lady Gaga, he's like, "I like shiny stuff. ^___^"
  • PeteSpace. Um, why did A Current Affair have a segment on EYEBROWS? And in the segment, the people are like, "I don't let anyone touch my eyebrows." Because, y'know, people are constantly asking if they can touch someone else's eyebrows. /sarcasm
  • Rove. He's always funny. :D
  • Lady Gaga's performance/interview/awesomeness.
  • JAI HO. Pussycat Dolls on next week. THEY'D BETTER SING JAI HO OR ELSE.
  • Karl Stefanovic's explanation of THE BUDGET. Thankyou Karl, I fully understand now. :)
  • K-Rudd's segment.
Um, yeah.
The whole show was good.

In other news, Collingwood lost. Against Carlton. :|.
Dayne Beams managed to kick a goal.
AND GUESS WHAT?
MY DREAM TEAM WON. AND I GOT 7 IN MY FOOTY TIPPING. Epic win.
Anyway, I had to change the Captain on my Dream Team because Dale Thomas wasn't playing.
So, I just changed it to Nick Riewoldt. idk. I should have chosen Jimmy Bartel but oh well.

I has more problems though.
Jaxson Barham, Jack Riewoldt and Paul Medhurst scored nothing. And I can't trade them ALL off. Only two.
OH WELL.
Hopefully, they can play next week. :).

Oh and Rebel Wilson is on TAYG on Tuesday.
WIN.

EDIT: On Rove, he was singing to that P!nk song called Bad Influence. Rove was like, "WIND ME UP AND WATCH ME GOOOO."
And I'm like, "OMIGOD, I LOVE THAT SONG."

FOOTY AND MOVIES.

Just to let you all know, Talia is favourite to win SYTYCDA (According to the Dance forums whose source is Sportingbet).
But the voting, of course, hasn't started yet.
So, no one knows how the voting will go. SO, YOU HAVE TO VOTE. :)

I also went to see Confessions Of A Shopaholic on Friday. 17 Again was much better but both movies were good and funny and such.
I'd recommend you all see both these movies but if you are only wanting to see one, choose 17 Again.

School starts again on Monday (FAIL!) so yeah.
And also, I'm on 3/5 in my Footy Tipping. (Because I tipped Carlton and Hawthorn. Epic fail).
Hopefully, my Dream Team wins this round. My Captain (Dale Thomas) only got 120 points in total and apparently, Jimmy Bartel and Koschitzke are injured. Koschitzke didn't get many points either. ;_;

Oh well.
Chris Judd and Paul Medhurst and Tarkyn Lockyer went well. And I'm sure everyone else got a good score too. ^_______^

JAI HO.

Hi.
I got 5 in my footy tipping.
And I want to ask you all: Who should I tip out of Melbourne and Richmond? idk.

I just read the TV Week blog. She blogged about SYTYCDA on Sunday.
All her favourites have left the competition so the blog was a bit.. um... negative.
But she doesn't like the judges either (especially Bonnie and Jason) so that's good. I don't like Bonnie and Jason either. ;)

Talia will win.
Talia will win.
Talia will win.
Talia will win.
Yes, Talia will win So You Think You Can Dance Australia.

And yeahhhh.
My Dream Team is going well. I has Chris Judd, Jimmy Bartel and a few others who get 100 every week. I hope Nick Maxwell isn't on my Dream Team. He got suspended. For two weeks. ;_;
And Heath Shaw probably got suspended too. For touching the umpire. Fail.
