TODAY.

I worked in an op shop today. My second time. :)
It was pretty good, I just sorted books and clothes and stuff.

Interesting things I found/saw in the shop:
  • St Kilda scarf. Which had 2010 on it.
  • Justin Bieber book. A biography. With pictures.
Yeah. Someone donated a new St Kilda scarf.
Why would someone do that? I would never give away my Collingwood scarf even if they were the worst team in the universe.
People should stick by their team. St Kilda need all the support they can get, especially in this rough patch that they've found themselves in.

Glee is on tonight. Just so you all know. :P

FAIR DINKUM AWARD.

Penguins Quack has given me this award because I'm a "good buddy". Doesn't sound like me, but whatever you say, Penguins. :P

Anyway, I have to write 5 things about myself and pass the award on to 5 of you.
(Just a quick note: I suck at lists. And writing about myself. I just suck at everything, okay.)
  1. I am studying Biotechnology this year, and it's my 2nd year. It's a science-y course, and I'm majoring in chemistry, with biology subjects too. I have no idea what to do when I finish, haven't thought that far ahead. :/. I'll probably just end up in some dead-end teaching job in the day, and getting wasted at night. Either that, or a hobo. Meh.
  2. I have a terrible obsession with the song Pocketful Of Sunshine. No, seriously. I watched Easy A a few nights ago, and the song features in there. :P
  3. Chocolate is one of my favourite foods. Along with ice-cream, cake, and cookies. I'm such a fatty.
  4. Glee is the best show of all time. Or, at least, in my opinion. Seriously, you guys, if you haven't watched it, you are missing out. I love Season 1 (and I have it on DVD) but Season 2 is still good, because it involves Beiste and Sam. Hahahaha. ^___^
  5. I barrack for Collingwood. They won the premiership in 2010, just by being awesome. I don't attend many games, but cheering from the couch is just as good. (Okay, I'm lazy. I don't care, stfu). I also go for Melbourne and Freo, and my reasons are totally legit, okay. (I like Freo, because of their epic purple-ness; and Melbourne, because of their... um.. epicness.)
And that's all. Now I have to name 5 of you bitches and force you to accept my award.

But seeing as none of you are good buddies (except Penguins Quack, who gave me this award) and are only here to stalk me, then you deserve nothing. Go home and wallow in self-pity.

Thank you.
:P

I VOTED!

Yeah, it was the State Election that I voted in this time, and like the Federal one, I had no idea who to vote for. :/.

So, I voted Liberal. (And because the Liberal candidate was at the top, I did a donkey vote. Hahaha.)
And then, I voted Liberal above the line, in the other House. :P.
(I really wanted to vote below the line and mark a number in every box, but I got lazy.)

My reasons for doing so:
-They are going to build a Southland station. I don't even go to Southland that much, but hey, it's a cool idea.
-Myki was Labor's idea, right? So maybe Liberal might get rid of it? idk. (fyi~, Myki is the company that does the public transport tickets, and I don't hate Myki, I just prefer the old system.)
-Labor have been the government for 10 years or something. Time for a change.

And yeah.
I also like the Greens. As I've said before, they are pro-environment and all that. But I don't know anything else they care about so whatever. :/.

Meh.
I just hope it's not a Hung Parliament or whatever the hell happened last time. That was pretty messy, and this time, there will be no Bob Katter to clean it up. :(.

Oh and you guys! Glee is on Monday! :D.
I don't know much about the episode, but I've seen some promos for it. There's going to be a marriage (probably Finn's mum and Kurt's dad) and Finchel (Rachel & Finn) do this epic dance-y thing at the wedding and it's all so cool and amazing. ^_____^

And also, my NaNoWriMo is going well, I'm up to 47,000 words or something. :).
If you're lucky, I will post a little exercept of my story on this blog. MAYBE. (Don't get your hopes up, though.)
:D.

'SUP?

Yay, it's the lovable Jack Watts! He kicked a goal yesterday (against Carlton) but that was basically all that he did. :/.
And his team lost. Booooo.
And Freo lost too.
And West Coast lost too.
FAIL WHALE.

And yesterday, I watched Happy Feet. Good movie, has some epically funny parts, but also very sad.
Like when I saw it in the cinema, I was all like, "Wooo~, this movie will be good and happy and omg!" and then it turned out to be about a penguin kicked out of his "family" thingy and left to survive on his own. Whyyyy. :(.

Anyhoo, during the ad breaks of Happy Feet, I'd watch West Coast vs Geelong.
West Coast actually did pretty good, they kept up with Geelong, and it was a very even match.
And Josh Kennedy, omg.
His run-up before he kicks a goal is so funny. :).
Like, his run-up is just different from other players' run-ups. And it's hard to describe it, idk.
But the main thing is, IT WORKS. He gets the goals. (Well, most of them anyway. Nobody's perfect).
So, I'm thinking, Travis Cloke should adopt his style.
No, seriously, dudes. Cloke has the marking down pat, he can mark the ball, no problem.
It's the kicking he needs to work on. Maybe another run-up style, y/n?

Anywayz, whatever.
The Celeb Singing Bee was good.
But Gyton Grantley was so funny and unfortunately, got knocked out in Round 1. Boooo!
And Frankie J Holden (who got stabbed with an ARIA in Sleuth 101, haha) was the winner.

And Sam Stosur lost the final, or whatever she was playing. :(.
Say hi to your mum for me, etc etc.

YAY.

This is my Twitter page currently (and by "currently", I mean as I'm typing this now. By the time you read this, those figures above may have changed).
Basically, if you looked at the line with "Following Followers Listed", it goes 1 2 8 8 2 1.
Yeah.
I know right.
Pretty awesome.
MLIA.
(I will probably never follow anyone again, never accept anyone's request again, and never be listed in a list EVER AGAIN as I don't not want to change these figures).
(I am a loser. I already know that).
(Omg).
(Say hi to your mum for me!).

MY LIFE.

It was my birthday yesterday. :D.
And some of my friends came over (5 of them) and we ate food, watched movies, and ate pizza. lol.

The movies we watched were: 500 Days of Summer and Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist.
500 Days of Summer (shortened to 500 SD) was pretty good. Zooey Deschanel is a great actor. It was basically about a guy (Tom) who was in love with a girl (Summer) but Summer didn't really love him back. (Although, she kinda did, in my opinion). And the movie kept jumping back and forth between the days, but that was okay (it reminded me of The Pact by Jodi Picoult, lol).
I don't want to spoil it for you so if you want to know my thoughts on the ending, highlight the next paragraph.

I didn't like how Summer was engaged to another guy yet was flirting with Tom. Rude.
But it was clever how (at the very end), Tom met a girl and was like, "Let's go for the coffee." And the girl was like, "Nooo... Mmyeah." And then, she goes, "Btw~, I'm Autumn." And I lol'd. 'Cause there'll be three other sequels: 500 Days of Autumn, 500 Days of Winter, 500 Days of Spring, etc. ;).

And Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist was a really funny movie. Especially with the chewing gum. lol, the chewing gum had an adventure of its own.
Anyway, Kat Dennings is a really good actor and very funny. We watched the Special Features and Kat's puppet show was epic. Especially the bear.

I would recommend these movies. Totally. :D.

TAYG is on tonight. With Guy Sebastian, Brian Mannix (or something) and Marieke Hardy.
Did anyone watch Sleuth 101 on Friday night? (I presume you creepy stalkers did, I saw you peeking in the window...).
Sleuth 101 was pretty good, although I got the murderer wrong. lolwhut. (I thought it was the owner, idk).
Half the time, I didn't know what was happening. (Probably why I don't work in a hairdresser, teehee).
I liked the Maid Of Honour, she was awesome. The bride was so mean to her. :/.
And I liked the mother-in-law, only because I hated the bride. (Wooo~, thank god she died, hahahaha!).

Anyhoo, bye.
Say hi to your mum for me, etc etc.

HELLO~!

'Sup, everyone?
I watched 7pm Project, two episodes of the Simpsons and then, THE SIMPSONS MOVIEEEEEEEE~! :D
And Tasma Walton is on the 7pm Project next week to do some more plugging of that book. :)

Speaking of books, click here.
It is a competition or something where people vote for the best book of all time. OF ALL TIME.
Anyway, you can only vote once and they make sure that everyone only votes once because you have to put in your name and email address.
So, anyway, I went to vote and submitted my name and stuff, chose the books I wanted to vote for, clicked "vote" and waited. AND THEN, SOMETHING COMES UP AND SAYS, "YOU HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED." wtf. No, I haven't already registered.

All I wanted to do was vote for Everything Beautiful (which I've read and it's awesome!) and Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian (which I haven't read but people say it's a really good book and stuff).
AND I CAN'T VOTE.
BECAUSE THEY SAY I'VE "ALREADY REGISTERED".
Why can't I vote? :/

In other news, the ALL NEW Simpsons is on Tuesdays at 7:30pm. EPIC WIN. :D
YAYYYYYY~!
MORE SIMPSONS!
And less studying will be done but whatever. I'll just live in a cardboard box like a hobo, LOLLLL.

And yeahhhh.
ROVE IS ON SUNDAYYYYY~! #roveisawesome. With TAYG on at 6:30pm. ^_________^
