And then, I watched School of Rock. I had already seen it before but I wanted to see it again. =]
My favourite character was, of course, Dewey Finn. But I also liked Summer and Zac.
Summer was all like, "But I'm the best. You have to do what I say."
She was so stuck-up. It was funny. And Zac was all like, "The band. Meh."

I watched Camp Rock yesterday.
Good movie. Joe Jonas was awesome. But I kinda realised that Nick Jonas is heaps cuter than Joe. Nick reminds me of Zero from Holes. I love that movie (and book ^_^).
The cricket is on at the moment.

I am totally winning the competition at the moment. I think.
Exciting.
There's still a week to go. But I think I can win. It's been made HEAPS easier cos he gave us another clue which narrows it down to about twenty or something authors. And the easiest one was today. X]

OMG, I CAN'T WAIT FOR TWILIGHT. I'M GONNA WET MY PANTS.
I was doing my Math Methods homework today (nerd!) and my radio was on. And Hughesy & Kate (yes, I woke up early today) were talking about the Twilight movie. And they were giving away tickets to an advanced screening of Twilight at Melbourne Central.
So, I was all like, "OMG, YAY!" And I nearly rang up but I decided not to.
Anyway, a little while later, I went to the Nova website and looked up when the advanced screening was. And it said, "December 8th."
HAHA. I'm seeing Twilight in a week (3rd December). Which means I don't need Hughesy and Kate to give me a ticket.
Actually, maybe I should get a ticket from Hughesy and Kate cos it'll be free, right?
I like free stuff. :)
And yeah.
I was on Facebook and someone had written, "DUDE, WES MY CARR."
And it cracked me up. I lol'd for, like, 10 minutes.
Because Wes Carr was the winner of Aus Idol this year. (Source - TV Week blog - I hope it's reliable)
I heard his debut single on the radio today. The song wasn't that bad. I think he's better than Casey Donovan and all the other winners. Towards the end of the song, he starts using a ~sexy voice. Nathan (from Faker) and Johnny (from Galvatrons) have ~sexy voices too. ^_^
Brandon Flowers (teh Killers) kinda has a ~sexy voice. I do him ~any day.

And Lili posted this website on her Twitter. And I was all like, "OMG, A COMIC BOOK THAT COMES OUT EVERY FRIDAY. I LOVE COMIC BOOKS!"
So I wanted to know where to buy these comics.
And the website was like, "You can only get the comics by subscription or phone, kk."
I clicked on the link and it said the subscription costed like 40 pounds to subscribe. THAT'S LIKE 90 BUCKS IN AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS. WHAT??
Why are all good comic books from England?!
In Australia, we don't have cool comics (except Simpsons and Futurama).
And there are no comic book stores near me. Just bookshops, $2 shops, CD shops, clothes shops, food shops and other boring stuff. WHERE ARE THE COMIC BOOK STORES?
I want a comic book store with the Comic Book Guy in it. He'll be all like, "Worst. Episode. Ever."
And I'll be standing there laughing. ^_^
That's the end of my rant. I'm moving to England after I finish Year 12.
I'll go to Oxford University, live with Gabriella Cilmi and most importantly, I'll have my Roasted and DFC comics. Life shall be great. Come and join me if you want.

I had the last day of Year 11 today.
OMG. It was so awesome.
The year 11 co-ordinator brought cupcakes and candy canes for each homeroom. And I ate FIVE cupcakes. And two candy canes. ^_^
I'm a pig.
And then, my friend brought a cake or something. Idk why. So I got a piece of that too. It was delicious. X]
ALSO: I got my Chemistry and General Specialist exams back. I was so happy cos I got 69% on the Chemistry and 66% on the General Specialist. YAY!
I shall go now.

Okay, I lied. I watched the Potbelleez and Kasey Chambers/Shane Nicholson. But then, I turned the TV off. The rest was BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING.
The Potbelleez were awesome, kk. They sang a few of their hit singles. ^_^
And Kasey Chambers/Shane Nicholson sang rattlin' bones. I used to be all like, "EW, KASEY CHAMBERS.."
But now, I like her (and her husband) because they were on ROVEEEEEEEEEEE.
ALSO: When I watched Aus Idol (well, the first half), I noticed they were all OUTSIDE the Opera House and it was RAINING.
WHAT?
Don't they normally go INSIDE the Opera House? Isn't that the whole purpose of the Finale being at the Opera House because it's makes it seem special. I mean, you don't book out a place and then have the party in the carpark.
They should have every show outside the Opera House - with fireworks. That might make it MORE interesting, right?
And get rid of the Idol contestants and just have musicians that HAVEN'T been on Idol. Like The Killers or Gabriella Cilmi, etc.
I am smart. I could breathe some life into Australian Idol. And Big Brother. Well, you'd have to change the hosts of Big Brother. Kyle should not be the host. He is a d***head. Everyone knows that. And if you don't, you must be living in a hole.

LA LA LA. ^_^

I have completed 10 Dale Thomas comics. ^_^
Yesterday, I went to my school's Speech Night. There were speeches, awards and performances. The percussion performance was the best. It was so LOUD.
Anyway, when they got to the year 12 awards, normally they call the year 12's onto the stage individually.
But this year, they didn't. They just called the year 12's who won awards and such. All the rest of them just stood there, doin' nothing.
So that means, next year, I'll be up on stage but NO ONE WILL SAY MY NAME. No one will mis-pronounce my name on Speech Night. ;_;
Anyway, in lighter news, Pete and Ashlee have named their baby boy Bronx Mowgli Wentz. So the initials will be BMW.
My parents probably named me Laura Claire so that my initials could be LCD. And then, I'd be a TV and watch TV all day. Is that what my parents had in mind? Wow, aren't they kind?

GHOSTING.
Well, I watched Hamish and Andy Re-Gifted last night.
It was so cool!
I love the ghosting bit. And the doorknocking. And when Hamish and Andy got their mums to pick up some guys. That was hilarious.
I think I'll take up the sport "ghosting."
Good sport. Lots of exercise.
They should make it an Olympic sport. I'd win the gold medal. FOR SURE.
And Steph Rice will be like, "But I'm the sexy Australian athlete..." And I'll be like, "Not anymore. MWA HA HA."
LOL.
And she won't be the sexy Australian athlete couple either. Because me and Dale Thomas will be that. Me and Dale can do TEAM GHOSTING. Omg, yay!

AUS IDOL IS BORING. EXCEPT FOR THE TV WEEK BLOG.
I have read the TV Week blog. She makes Australian Idol seem so interesting even though the actual show is TOTALLY boring and I would never watch it ever.

TRANSITION. X]
Well, I had mah first day of Transition To Year 12 today.
We had Chemisty where we learnt about gases. I finally understood something in Chemistry because we had a different teacher. =]
Then we had Accounting and I got an A in my exam. 84%. WOW.
After that, we had English. I have about three friends in my class so that makes a big difference from last year when I only had one. ALSO: I have a better English teacher. I think.
After lunch, we had Specialist Maths. And we did some Math Methods Calculus stuff. The limit does not exist. (Quoting Mean Girls is fun).
That was the end of the day. AND GUESS WHAT? Only 3 more days till the weekend! (Because I get to have Friday off because Speech Night is on Friday night!)
My friends probably have to go to school that day (cos they are all nerds who get awards every year) so HA!
Also, TV Week blog is FANTASTIC. So is William Kostakis' first blog. ^_^
FABULOUS.
Life is good. (I have an LG TV so I kinda have to believe that, lol)
Anyway, I am going to the advanced screening of Twilight on December 3rd. SO GOOD.
That is only 12 days after the USA. I think. (My maths skills isn't too good..)
And 9 days before the rest of Australia see it. HA! Put that in your pipe and smoke it, Australia!
(Well, Australians could just fly to America on the 21st)

And then, before the peeps went off stage, CBro hugged them and one of the girls went a bit further and decided to grope his.. stuff.

I watched 5th Grader last night.

THREE MORE EXAMS TO GO. X]
I had two Maths exams today. EW.
One of them was General Specialist - with calculators. Gosh, there were some REALLY difficult questions on there. Not even my calculator knew what to do.
The other exam was Math Methods - without calculators. It was pretty good. I stuffed up one question cos I didn't know what to do because I was away for the lesson when the teacher taught it. X'[
But yeah. Other than that, it was fabulous. ^_^
Chemistry and General Specialist - No Calculator exams are tomorrow. They are the two exams I am dreading. SRSLY.
Oh well. I shall study and try mah best. Except I have totally forgotten all the formulas for Sequences and Series. EPIC FAIL.
Anyway, today I was in a newsagent reading the latest Dolly or Girlfriend magazine (as I am too much of a cheapskate to buy it) and it said there was something about Ryan Shelton in there. So I read the whole magazine about 200 million times and there wasn't a single mention about Ryan Shelton! THAT'S FALSE ADVERTISING. Luckily, I didn't buy the magazine because I wouldn't have liked a Ryan-Shelton-less-magazine, anyway.
Rove is ending on Sunday. It better come back on next year or I'll burn down the Channel Ten studios. And I'll make sure the Australian Idol people are burnt down too. ESPECIALLY KYLE. And all the other Big Brother people.
Speaking of Big Brother, apparently Channel Ten are putting on a reality TV show that is kinda like Australian Idol except instead of choosing a singer, they'll choose the best chef.
I think the chef reality show will replace Big Brother.
And I will only watch the chef reality show IF there is a hot, young, single guy as one of the contestants. Am I asking too much? MAYBE.
I can't wait for SYTYCD Australia to come back. Natalie Bassingthwaite FTW.

Yesterday, I didn't watch any TV. But I read the TV Week blog today. She blogged about Australian Idol. I laughed myself silly. KK.

I HAVE EXAMS THIS WEEK. -dies-
Well, I watched Rove today. Cos I taped it last night. X]
It was awesome.
Celia "Whatever-her-name-is" was so funneh. Her friend was all like, "No, I don't eat fish. I'm a Pisces." So Celia was like, "Well, I don't eat Scorpion. >_>"
And the friend was like, "Is that cos you're a Scorpio O_O?"
And Celia was like, "No, it's cos they're poisonous. Duh."
I lol'd at that for ages. ^_^
I'm a Pisces and I eat fish. Well, I eat everything. Except spicy curries.
Anyway, guess who is going to be on Rove next week?!

Omg, I love Keeping The Faith. Anna and Jake made a perfect couple. And then, Brian was all like, "But.. but... I'm in love with Anna... ;_; .."
And then, Brian got all drunk and shit and the threesome broke up. X'[

So then, Brian goes to Jake and he's like, "Anna's leaving - what are you gonna do?"
And yeah.

HA HA HA.
School was pretty boring today.
It was the last day of Year 11 classes. And everyone was like, "OMG, yay!"
We did a lot of studying cos we had a Study period in the morning and instead of doing sport, we had another Study period.
And in the other two classes, we studied for that subject.
Except English. We had English for the last period.
And we just went down to the Computer Labs and watched Obama's speech on the internet. He used lots of persuasive techniques so yeah.
Anyway, we were waiting for the video to load so we all just talked.
One of my friends found the remote for the overheard projector and it had a red laser light on it. So she was just shining the red dot at everything and everyone.
It was funny. ^_^
I got drenched when I walked home from school.
I got to the traffic lights and I just stood there and water was dripping from me.
And there were heaps of shops nearby.
So, a woman came up to me, and she was like, "Hey, do you want to get dry for a minute?"
And I was like, "Uh, yeah. But I have to walk home."
And the woman was like, "Here's five dollars. Go sit in a cafe and dry yourself off."
And I was like, "Nah, I'm right."
And she was like, "-puts money in my hand- Just take it."
So I went and I got two biscuits. ^_^
Except I still got drenched when I had to walk home again. EPIC FAIL.
The Inkys were on last night.
I didn't go cos I'm lazy and also I have exams.
But Town by James Roy won the Golden Inky. I was all like, "OMG, I love Jordan and Hattie!"
And Before I Die by Jenny Downham got the Silver Inky. That book was so sad. I cried. ;_;

Except I didn't win the competition. I didn't even get Runner's Up. EPIC FAIL. AGAIN.
I suppose heaps of people entered the competition.
And my entry was pretty crap.
I only entered it because my motto is, "You gotta be in it to win it."
Basically because once they had a competition and you had to write a Shakespeare thing. And I was like, "Too hard. I can't win that."
And then, they announced the winners and they were like, "Every entry gets a prize."
SUCKS TO BE ME.
Anyhoo, I shall stop bothering you.

P.S. Should I watch Rove on Sunday? Cos I have an English exam on Monday morning so I'm like wondering if I should watch Rove or tape it. Hm...

EXAMS SCARE ME.

I have exams next week.
I have done a Chemistry summary sheet. Unfortunately I can't take it into the exam.
Chemistry is probably my hardest subject.
Well, not including General Specialist Maths. THAT is impossibly hard.

I don't know what to call the hobbit.

It is kinda funny cos I like Dale Thomas. And now I've found out that Dale is also a girl's name. LOL.

Cos I didn't want Sarah Palin to win. Well, she couldn't win cos she wasn't running for President. But I just don't want Sarah Palin to be Vice President because when John McCain dies, God help us all.
Anyhoo, I went to school today.
The long weekend didn't seem long enough but oh well.

Like, is it basically the same as Australia?
Do they have the same shows on TV and the same movies in the cinemas?
Does the school bus come to all the students' houses before school like on the Simpsons?
Do they all celebrate on 4th July?
Does the government play a big part in people's lives?

ALSO: Does every student wear casual clothes to school each day?
Or do they have uniforms?
Do they learn the same stuff in school - same curriculum?

MELBOURNE CUP.
DID YOU KNOW: I can see Russia from my house.
The Melbourne Cup was just on.
I was going for Mad Rush (as Damien Oliver was the jockey) and Moatize (the jockey was a girl - GIRLS RULE).
And Mad Rush and Moatize didn't come first, second or third. EPIC FAIL.
I was extremely disappointed.
I always go for the horse that has Damien Oliver riding it.
Cos Damien Oliver is fabulous.
ALSO: I'm taller than him.
Well, I think I'm taller than him. Idk.
Ah, I suck at choosing the winning horse.
I used to be good.
Like, I could always choose the right horse.
When I was about 9 years old, I was going for two horses. And one of the horses came first and the other one came second.
I have no idea how I did it. I just looked at the names and I was like, "That's a nice name."

LOL. I watched the Simpsons last night. ^_^
I also watched P!nk on Idol.
So, I sat there for about an hour basically watching a show that is more boring than watching grass grow.
But that's alright.
COS I KEPT SAYING TO MYSELF: P!NK WILL BE ON SOON.
P!nk was fantastic. ^_^
She sang her new single, Sober. I had never heard that song before but it was excellent. LOL.
ALSO: On Idol, I didn't know much about the contestants but one of the contestant's mum rang up the show and told a totally embarrassing story. And the contestant was just sitting there squirming. And James was like, "We'll now go to an ad break. We shall be back with more embarrassing stories from contestants' mothers."
LOL. It was kinda funny.
Besides that, the whole show was BORING.
I didn't pay much attention so don't ask me who got eliminated. (Actually I do know that the Casey-Donovan-look-a-like was eliminated...)
Anyway, I entered the NaNoWriMo. I think I spelt that wrong. =|
Oh well.
Apparently you have to write a 175 page story to be a winner in the competition.
It is like 5000 words or something. Actually, I think I left out a zero.
Anyway, I have written (drum roll please) ... 147 WORDS.
EPIC FAIL.
Well, I have to write it by the end of November and it doesn't have to be a good story - it can be a pile of crap. It just has to be 175 pages or whatever.
I shall leave now.

P.S. Speaking of novels, Adam "Gilly" Gilchrist has written a book about himself.

There was an interview in the newspaper today with Rebel Wilson. Rebel said that she was a good student in school except she did start a lolly shop from her own locker. It was very profitable. X]
Her book is out on November 17th. I shall buy it.
ALSO: I liked Rebel Wilson on The Wedge. She stalked the Dylan guy. It reminded me of me stalking Dale Thomas. Except I only send him weird comments on his blog that he doesn't reply to. (Click on the link to read my random comments LOL)

NO MORE BIOLOGY.
Well.
I had mah Biology exam today.
Some questions were a bit difficult but overall, it was pretteh good.
The last question was like saying how some scientists found a fossil and they named it HOMO FLORESIENSIS. Something like that.
Do you have ANY idea what type of creature that is?
A HOBBIT.
Yes, you read that correctly.
Humans are related to hobbits and they are both related to apes.
WHAT?
I thought that hobbits were fictional characters.
Like they come from Middle Earth. Where the hell is Middle Earth?!
So, if Frodo is real, does that mean Edward Cullen is real?
Wow.
Anyway, I came home from the exam and I watched ROVE.
Cos I taped it last night as I wanted to go to bed early so I could get lots of sleep before my exam.
It was lovely but what the hell were they discussing that Rove was all like, "I didn't say yes. O_O"
And everyone else was like, "You did."
It was some "club" and they were all like, "Let's join it."
Okay, so did they say the MO HAI CLUB, the MO HIDE CLUB, the MOHIDE CLUB?!
WHAT WERE THEY SAYING???
Anyhoo, I found it amusing how someone found poo in their ice cream.
LOL. ^_^
And then, the scientists wanted to see if the poo was human or animal.
Rove was all like, "I don't think it'll make a difference. It's not like the family are sitting there going hopefully it came from a dog.."
Ah, good times.
