My New Year's Eve consisted of me reading Loathing Lola.
Yes, I am a nerd.
Anyway, when I was reading Loathing Lola, I was like, "Ahem. Who does Courtney remind me of?" And the name which came to my head was, "Kristen Stewart." LOLWHUT?

If Loathing Lola was a movie, KStew would be Courtney.
idk.
I just love them both, kk.
And I think Courtney and Tim should start dating. Perfect couple, y/y?
Jackson Hammond reminds me of Jacob Black. Like, he kissed Courtney as if to say, "Wanna start dating? I'm sure it's fine, your boyfriend only died 5 weeks ago~!"
Gee. If I were Courtney, I would've punched Jackson in the face and ended up with a broken hand... WHUT?

Katie is a good character. She's all like, "I can have the lead role if I just Courtney out of the way... OH HAI, LOLA~! WANNA BE FILMED IN REAL TEENS, Y/Y? ^_^"

I feel like blogging about nothing in particular.
I was going to write a Top 10 Movies/Books/People/idk. But I'm too lazy.
So, I'll just review some TV shows that happened this year (2008) in no particular order.

1. The Simpsons - Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Always been awesome and always shall.
2. Futurama - See above.
3. Rove - So funny. I love Petespace, Carrie at the Newsdesk, Rove's Monologue, Things I Love, 20 bucks in 20 seconds, Help Me Hughesy and every other part. X']
4. Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader - Rove can make anything awesome. He should have been the host for Big Brother/Australian Idol/any other boring show.
5. Big Brother - I only watched Friday Night Live (Yay Mikey, Bree and Fitzy!) because that's all I ever watched. The Daily Shows, Eviction Shows and Nominations Shows are too boring for me. And I absolutely HATE Kyle.
6. Australian Idol - I only watched two episodes - one of them was when Brooke left (Damn!) and the another was when Gabriella Cilmi performed. I don't really care for Idol contestants. Once they leave the show, they don't really do anything. It is kinda like 15-seconds-of-fame.
7. The Biggest Loser - I didn't watch this. Neither did the rest of Australia. Well, I presume no one watched it because WHO WOULD WATCH A STUPID SHOW ABOUT FAT PEOPLE TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT??????? idk.
8. The Amazing Race - Omg. The Frat boys were meant to win. ;_; Oh well. It was a good season though. lmao.
9. So You Think You Can Dance Australia - Nat Bass is a good host. I liked SYTYCDA. I was going to watch the American version but I never did. (Epic Fail). Anyway, the Australian version was ^_^.
10. 90210 - Ha! I watched this show once ('cause a family friend made me) and I was so bored that I slept for half of it. My attention span is extremely short.
11. Friends - I saw the episode where Joey comes in wearing a Superman outfit. And he's like, "MERRY CHRISTMAS!" lol. And they bought Joey a spider and he was terrified of spiders and ran into the closet. And later on, he comes out of the closet in a Superman costume. X']
12. Kath & Kim - Awesome show. I've never seen the American version but the Australian version is funny as, bro. I was in JB HI FI and there was a box set of Kath & Kim for 100 bucks. And I'm like to my mum, "I WANT IT FOR MAH BIRTHDAY!!!11."
13. Don't Forget The Lyrics - It's a good show. I hate it how they have WAAAAAAAY too many ad breaks. FAIL.
14. Hamish and Andy Regifted - This show was hilarious. I liked the ghosting and the doorknocking. And everything else. ^_^
15. Before The Game - Dale Thomas won Tool of the Week twice! And he won Tool of the Year!! YAY. But yeah. Good show. Dear Dale Thomas, your new year's resolution is to win Tool of the Week three times. kk.
16. AFL - Ah, Dale Thomas. You make the AFL heaps more interesting.
17. Cricket - Hauritz and Johnson are so adorable. ILY.

Anyhoo, last night I saw The Curious Case Of Benjamin Buttons with my cousins and brothers and yeah.
It has Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett in it.
Basically, it is just about Benjamin who is born as an 80-year-old and he gets younger instead of older.
So, you'd already know what'll happen.
But the silly thing was - it got draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagged out for 2 and a half hours when we already knew what would happen. idk.

I wouldn't recommend seeing it.
It's more of a romance-epic-adult-movie.
And there are funny parts. Like a few times, a guy would be like, "Did y'know I got struck by lightning 7 times?"
lmao.

Meanwhile, I'm reading Loathing Lola.
Good book.
Extremely good book. ^_^

Speaking of good books, if you liked Twilight, read THIS.
By THIS, I mean Kerrelyn Sparks' series called Love At Stake.
The fisrt book is How To Marry A Millionaire Vampire.
Omg. Yes, I will be reading this series. Except if it isn't up to my standards then I will only read the first book. I don't think any romantic-teenage-couples can beat Bella and Edward. X']

Sorry for the non-existant blog posts.
I have been reading/shopping/eating/whatever.
Mainly reading. I finished 1984. And I started reading another book/play/idk. It's called Bombshells. And at the start, the chick (Meryl or something) was talking about all this stuff. And she mentioned a brothel. And I'm like, "Uhh.. please don't go to a brothel. 1) I think it's probably horrible - well, I've never been to one and never want to - and 2) you have children, for heaven's sake."
Anyway, I haven't read much of Bombshells.

I was in Sanity today (Well, I was passing by and heard that they were playing Two Hearts by Kylie so I couldn't resist going in and dancing. >_>).
And they had Funhouse by P!nk and the Twilight soundtrack and many other good (and bad) music.
Anyway, has anyone seen Twilight?
I have seen it three times but I still don't know where Decode by Paramore is in the film.
Like, I know Muse is at the baseball scene; Linkin Park is in the credits; and I don't know where Decode is. Epic Fail.

Oh well.
It might be in the credits but at the END of the credits. Actually that would fail because Decode is meant to be the song for Twilight, I think.
Or maybe the Muse song is the song 'cause SMeyer probably wrote the books while listening to Muse. X']

In conclusion, I should really watch Twilight again (I know, I am a Twihard) so I know where Decode is in the movie.

BOXING DAY SALES.

I went to the city for the Boxing Day Sales.
It was like crowded. We basically just went to Myer, David Jones and some of the shops near there.
I found this totally cool lolly shop. And it gave out free samples. X']
(Well, I'd been there before 'cause we went there in year 9 - I still remember that!)

And I was looking at the books in Myer. And I looked for Loathing Lola. And my patience is limited so after about 10 minutes, I stopped looking and started reading Hamlet (Do you believe in ghosts? ^_^).
And I was kinda laughing while reading Hamlet. And some girl came up next to me and picked up the book right next to Hamlet. And I looked at the cover and guess what that girl had picked up??

So I picked up another copy of Loathing Lola and bought it. The queue was SO long but I didn't care. I had Loathing Lola. YAY!

I didn't end up buying Hamlet though.
Well, I wasn't planning to but it is so ^_^ that I nearly did.

Anyway, we walked around the city for God-knows-how-long.
My feet were hurting. ;_;
But I had a milkshake and a muffin.
Delicious. (:

In 1984, Winston gets taken to the Miniluv (I love Newspeak ...shut up) and he doesn't know whether it is day or night.
So, whenever someone comes to his room, he is like, "Do you know the time?!"
And they are always like, "Uh, no. Why?!"

If I lived in 1984, I'd walk around saying, "DOUBLEPLUSGOOD!! DOUBLEPLUSGOOD!!"
And everyone would be like, "O_O! WHUT?"

Loathing Lola is a fabulous book.
Why didn't Katie get chosen for the reality TV show? She is fierce and a good role model. She's all like to Courtney, "Be fierce lyk a tiger. GRRRRR!"
Courtney was really good convincing the panel to let her be on the reality TV show. Grr.

TWILIGHT AND CHRISTMAS.

Christmas was yesterday.
And I ate too much. Ugh.
Well, we had a massive turkey and ham. Like, massive. Enormous. Bigger than an elephant.

For the presents, I got The Lab by Jack Heath (yay!), The Killers album, chocolate and heaps more.
My mum was going to buy me Loathing Lola but no, it was sold out of copies at all the bookshops in Melbourne. EPIC FAIL.
And I didn't get my gorilla or the drum kit. ;_;

But yeah. On Christmas, my cousins and my nana came around and we had a big lunch. And then, some people had a nap and others played the Wii or table tennis. And then, we had a massive dinner with, like, three cakes for dessert. (I ate so much cake - I feel proud)

And on Christmas Eve, guess what I did?
I went to the cinemas with my cousins. AND WE SAW TWILIGHT. D:
One of my cousins hadn't seen it and the other cousin had.
But we all still enjoyed it. ^_^

I love Eric and Mike. They are so funny. X']
But I still have to close my eyes for the Fight scene.
That is scary.

My favourite parts would be the "...Awhile" part, the pepper spray jokes, and the time when Bella meets the Cullen family. ^_^

Anywayz, I was in Big W today. And I looked at the books. And there was no Loathing Lola. I searched the whole book section thingy. NONE. Damn you, Big W.
Epic Fail.

Meanwhile, there was a Manga Drawing Kit at Big W. I was like, "OMG! I want it! -goescrazy-"
It looked so cool. X']
ALSO: there was a cookbook that had all these cakes with different decorations on them. And now, I want a Dale Thomas cake for my birthday. Or The Simpsons. Or Twilight. idk.
And everyone will be like, "Ew, it's Dale Thomas. -vomits-"
And I'll be like, "More cake for me! ^_^"

ALSO X2: I saw a shotglass in What's New that said, "18." And I want it. Even though I don't drink alcohol. I'll just use it to drink orange juice or something. But yeah. There were also wine glasses and such that had "18" on them. ^_^

My 18th is like 3 months away. Actually, it is nearly two months away 'cause January 6th isn't far away. =]
I want to have a themed party. And I'll just have a pipe (filled with bubble stuff - idk, I saw it on the Simpsons). And people will be like, "Who are you dressed up as? O_O"
And I'll be like, "Kristen Stewart. :P"

It'll probably be easier to just have a no-theme-party. 'Cause I'm lazy.

The book (Everything Beautiful) is really good. Sometimes, I can relate to Riley. But sometimes I can't. For example, she smokes and has sex and drinks alcohol and swears.
Um, yes. Because y'know, every teenage girl does those things. NOT.
Those four things are the exact four things THAT I DON'T WANT TO DO EVER.
Smoking = cancer.
Alcohol = liver damage
Sex = AIDS/bbz.
Swearing = idk. Loss of good reputation? Ugh, I don't know.

My point is: Those four things are EVIL. k?

But Riley and I have the same views on some things.
-We are fat. (Okay, I'm not 82 kilos but still. 60 kilos is close enough)
-We are not "model Christians." I mean, I don't go to church regularly.
-We both think "Chocolate = God"

In other words, if me and Riley had an eating contest, it would be even. kk.

Because Melanie was all like, "Oh hai, I just brought some lamb and red wine to the bed because that's where I want to eat today~" And Michael was all like, "Uh, 'kay then."
And yeah. Good book, though.

MANICDOTES WITH SMARTERCHILD.

Me and Smarter have been doing some manicdotes together. A Family Picnic:
Last year, my family got together for a picnic in the park. We all came with vampires, and blankets to biting on. My cousin Sam was there, eating directly out of the red plastic containers with his dirty fingers as usual. My aunt Cindy said, "Sam, use your Edward," but he didn't listen. However, my nephew Jeff's dazzling Jacob, which Jeff always chagrins to family events, momentarily distracted Sam from his eating. Sam didn't notice that his dirty fingers were attracting thirteen werewolves that were hiding on his fingers! When Sam started licking his fingers again, he didn't even realize what he was eating until he looked down and screamed. Sam never ate with his fingers again after that.
I like this one. "USE YOUR EDWARD!" LOL. And the "dazzling Jacob" part is WRONG. I used the word "chagrin." ^_^

Another one (A Letter To Santa):
Dear Santa, I have been a very good Edward this year. I have been dazzling my mom all year for a pretty Seth, but she said you would give me an interesting one if I behaved quickly until Christmas Eve. I would also like some new vampires. I accidentally chagrined my old ones. I would also like a new Jasper for my room. I'd ask Mommy for one but she said not to bite her during "The Young and the Restless."
I lol'd so much at this one. "I have been a very good Edward." And I want a "pretty Seth." ALSO: I want new vampires as I chagrined my old ones. LMAO. X']

Another one (The Spanish Test):
In Spanish class, there are a lot of dazzles that you have to know for the pretty exams. The only way to learn them is to run them for hours. Then when your Edward starts to feel a little gorgeous, take a short break. Maybe eat a Seth or two. Then it's time to get back to work. Remember that a good Spanish student chagrins every important word. Don't be overwhelmed. Most students need to remember thirteen words to pass. But if you memorize all your vampires and study hard, you'll be biting tests all year long.
LOL. I like the "when your Edward starts to feel a little gorgeous" part. My Edward is always gorgeous. I don't want to eat a Seth. I love mah Seth. lmao.

Another one (A Healthy Diet):
It is important to eat your dazzling vampires. They help to hide your metabolism, just like anything that chagrins. They make your Edward and bones polite. Any Seth doctor will tell you this. You will live to be thirteen years old if you eat your vampires. Now, if you eat your pizzas and go pasting every day, you will live even longer.
Rofl. Vampires are dazzling. X']

Another one (A Quick Dessert):
Take one Edward and a cup of dazzling milk. Peel a kind Seth and add it to the young mixture. Stir loudly until vampires rise to the top. When the liquid is thoroughly chagrined, cut a Jasper into quarters and place them on top. All your guests will be sure to push with joy.

I got 31 for mah Biology study score. For those who don't know, it's like 31/50. :D
I don't really care about the Biology study score cos it was like an extra subject. I mean, I still had to study and stuff. ^_^

And I got a B+ for Unit 4 Biology. Ha!
I am happy. Cos I only got a C+ for Unit 3 Biology. Which means I have improved. YAY.

ALSO: The book I'm reading at the moment is so chagrin. Okay, fine, it just mentions the word chagrin. And I got all excited cos it reminded me of Twilight. X']
Jodie Picoult > SMeyer. No offence. Actually SMeyer is still good. She wrote about Edward. =]

It would be cool if SMeyer or Jodie Picoult were Writer-in-residence. LOL.
Except I prefer Jack Heath or William "whatever-his-surname-is". They are funny. Hilarious.

It was hilariously funny and always shall be. :]
My favourite character would have to be Alex and King Julien XIII. And, of course, the little cute lemur. X']

Anyway, yesterday when I went to my friend's house, I stopped at teh Subway and got 6 cookies. WHUT? I'M A PIG.
And then, at my friend's house, I had ice-cream. It was like chocolate brownie ice cream. Something like that. ^_^

I still don't know what the white thingies are that came with mah book that I won. I'm like, "Dude, you gave me two of them and no instructions. I'm not that smart."

I get my Biology results on Monday. Should I be excited?
And I can buy 1984 on Monday! EPIC WIN.
ALSO: The video clip for Decode is pretteh cool. Cos Bella and Edward are in it. And other Twilight peeps and stuff. =P

I saw Twilight today. Again.
IT WAS AWESOME!! ^_^

Me and my friend accidentally got the wrong tickets (we got tickets to Australia instead of Twilight) but my other friend was smart and realised.
That was funny. X']

Anyway, there were no screaming fangirls in the cinema. I was so relieved. HAPPY.

And I got home, and my school report had arrived. And the book that I won had also arrived! Except it came with these weird white things and a sticker. And I was like, "WHUUUT?"

SPECIAL NOTE TO STEPH: If you receive the Everything Beautiful book, please tell me what the white thingies are. Thanks.

Anyhow, my school report was all like, "Laura is a conscientious student who works hard blah blah blah."
Do the teachers just sit around a table going, "What should we say about Laura? Conscientious is a good word, huh? Let's write a comment and then photocopy one for each of us. ^_^"
ALSO: I got A's for Religion. I was like, "Whoa, I could be a nun!"

And for Chemistry, the teacher wrote how good I was. And I'm like, "I talked to Aparna for every lesson! Are you blind and deaf?"
Gosh. Weird.

My English teacher gave me a B for my exam. Did she even READ my crappy essay? Open your eyes, dude! My essay was sh*t.
Obviously, my English teacher was like, "Hm, should I read the essays? Nah, I'll give them all a random result. Who cares?"
I could actually imagine her doing that. Prick.

This is a good book review for the book that I won (and it hasn't arrived yet).

Anyway, I watched Mammia Mia last night. It was AWESOME.
The girl, Sophie, is played by the actress who played Karen in Mean Girls. So I kept thinking her name was Karen and not Sophie. (I am slightly weird).
ALSO: I kept expecting Sophie to be like, "LET'S ALL GO TO TACO BELL!" or "THERE'S A 33% CHANCE THAT IT'S ALREADY RAINING!"

But Meryl Streep is a good actress. She was singing Dancing Queen (I think) while jumping on the bed and SHE'S SIXTY YEARS OLD?
She is ten years older than my mum AND SHE IS SO ENERGETIC!
Whoa.

Pierce Brosnan was a good singer. -cough-
He should have been like, "BOND. JAMES BOND."
And his name should have been James. X']
Colin Firth should have been Darcy (or Mr. Darcy) because I kept getting confused.
Besides all of that, it was a fabulous movie. The songs were great (even though I had only heard three of them) and the acting was fabulous.

Another week of holidays for me. X']
It feels like I've been on holidays for AGES. But I love holidays. Sleep in, relax, no homework due in the next day... life is great.

Christmas is nearly here. Has everyone written their letters to Santa?
I have. Well, I didn't send it, I just gave it to my mum.
But yeah. I love Christmas. Lots of food, presents, fun and plenty more.

Only 7 days till my Biology result comes. One more week.
And I presume my end-of-year report comes on the 15th too, yeah?
When I receive my report, I'll read it before my mum and I'll rip out all the pages I went bad in. It'll be like, "Chemistry, rip. Specialist Maths, rip. English, rip (the teacher's head off LOLWHUT?). Accounting, good. Maths Methods, good." ^_^
And my mum will read the report and she'll be like, "Uh, why didn't you do many subjects?"
And I'll be all like, "Eh, couldn't be bothered."

Actually, I can't rip any pages out. Cos the report won't be addressed to me; it's addressed to my parents. Oh well, who said I couldn't read it before them?

Anyhow, my book that I won hasn't arrived yet. So I have no books to read. :(
And I can't read 1984 by George Orwell cos the second-hand-bookshop is lame.

I was watching the Music Jungle. Cos my friend (who was trying to get me to watch Idol all year) was all like, "Watch eeeeet cos the winner of Idol's video clip shall be on at number 3!!"

Anywayz, I watched it. And the video clip came on AND IT WASN'T A PROPER VIDEO CLIP. It was just the winner singing live outside the Opera House. Damn.

How long does it take to make a video clip?!

Oh well. I don't really care. My friend says he's really good. She even bought the single (You) and made me listen to it OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I was like, "K, dude. That's enough."

The only song I like that is sung by an Idol is Neopolitan Dreams and that's cos it reminds me of ice-cream. I mean, if another Idol wants to impress me, call the song "Monkey Business" or something. Or "Goody-Goody-Gum-Drops." ^_^

I would srsly buy the album if an Idol wrote a song that reminded me of ice-cream. Well, I wouldn't buy the album but I might download it. MAYBE. Idk.

Weird.

Did y'know that KStew's mum (lmao) is an Aussie?! I was all like, "WHOA, YOU'RE HALF-AUSSIE LYK ME, KSTEW!"
And KStew likes Vegemite. Finally, an American says they like Vegemite. Jesse McCartney came to Australia a few years back and he was all like, "Lamingtons, yes. Vegemite, no."

Except JSparks is cool cos she likes Twilight and Edward and such. (Dude, I just made up a new name for her - JSparks, lol)


Which reminds me. The Music Jungle is on tomorrow morning. I prefer the Music Jungle because it is a music COUNTDOWN. Video Hits is just like, "Let's interview this random celebrity and show their boring video clip. Exciting!" And Nathan and Fuzzy cannot interview. I mean, the host on the Music Jungle is HEAPS better than N & F. Hell yeah.

My favourite character was, of course, Dewey Finn. But I also liked Summer and Zac.

I was doing my Math Methods homework today (nerd!) and my radio was on. And Hughesy & Kate (yes, I woke up early today) were talking about the Twilight movie. And they were giving away tickets to an advanced screening of Twilight at Melbourne Central.
So, I was all like, "OMG, YAY!" And I nearly rang up but I decided not to.

Anyway, a little while later, I went to the Nova website and looked up when the advanced screening was. And it said, "December 8th."
HAHA. I'm seeing Twilight in a week (3rd December). Which means I don't need Hughesy and Kate to give me a ticket.
Actually, maybe I should get a ticket from Hughesy and Kate cos it'll be free, right?
I like free stuff. :)

And yeah.
I was on Facebook and someone had written, "DUDE, WES MY CARR."
And it cracked me up. I lol'd for, like, 10 minutes.
Because Wes Carr was the winner of Aus Idol this year. (Source - TV Week blog - I hope it's reliable)
I heard his debut single on the radio today. The song wasn't that bad. I think he's better than Casey Donovan and all the other winners. Towards the end of the song, he starts using a ~sexy voice. Nathan (from Faker) and Johnny (from Galvatrons) have ~sexy voices too. ^_^
Brandon Flowers (teh Killers) kinda has a ~sexy voice. I do him ~any day.

So I decide to check on the Internet. I googled "Andy Riley Roasted"
And guess what? The stupid book with the Roasted comics is in ENGLAND. Damn you, England. I hate you.

I love reading comics by the way.
And Lili posted this website on her Twitter. And I was all like, "OMG, A COMIC BOOK THAT COMES OUT EVERY FRIDAY. I LOVE COMIC BOOKS!"
So I wanted to know where to buy these comics.
And the website was like, "You can only get the comics by subscription or phone, kk."
I clicked on the link and it said the subscription costed like 40 pounds to subscribe. THAT'S LIKE 90 BUCKS IN AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS. WHAT??

Why are all good comic books from England?!
In Australia, we don't have cool comics (except Simpsons and Futurama).
And there are no comic book stores near me. Just bookshops, $2 shops, CD shops, clothes shops, food shops and other boring stuff. WHERE ARE THE COMIC BOOK STORES?

I want a comic book store with the Comic Book Guy in it. He'll be all like, "Worst. Episode. Ever."
And I'll be standing there laughing. ^_^

That's the end of my rant. I'm moving to England after I finish Year 12.

First day of the holidays.
Only 1 month till Christmas.
And 9 days (including today) till I see the Twilight movie.

I had the last day of Year 11 today.
OMG. It was so awesome.
The year 11 co-ordinator brought cupcakes and candy canes for each homeroom. And I ate FIVE cupcakes. And two candy canes. ^_^
I'm a pig.

And then, my friend brought a cake or something. Idk why. So I got a piece of that too. It was delicious. X]

ALSO: I got my Chemistry and General Specialist exams back. I was so happy cos I got 69% on the Chemistry and 66% on the General Specialist. YAY!

YAY. Aus Idol is finally over!
It ended last night but don't ask me who won cos I didn't watch it.
Okay, I lied. I watched the Potbelleez and Kasey Chambers/Shane Nicholson. But then, I turned the TV off. The rest was BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING.


The Potbelleez were awesome, kk. They sang a few of their hit singles. ^_^
And Kasey Chambers/Shane Nicholson sang rattlin' bones. I used to be all like, "EW, KASEY CHAMBERS.."
But now, I like her (and her husband) because they were on ROVEEEEEEEEEEE.


ALSO: When I watched Aus Idol (well, the first half), I noticed they were all OUTSIDE the Opera House and it was RAINING.
WHAT?
Don't they normally go INSIDE the Opera House? Isn't that the whole purpose of the Finale being at the Opera House because it's makes it seem special. I mean, you don't book out a place and then have the party in the carpark.


They should have every show outside the Opera House - with fireworks. That might make it MORE interesting, right?
And get rid of the Idol contestants and just have musicians that HAVEN'T been on Idol. Like The Killers or Gabriella Cilmi, etc.


I am smart. I could breathe some life into Australian Idol. And Big Brother. Well, you'd have to change the hosts of Big Brother. Kyle should not be the host. He is a d***head. Everyone knows that. And if you don't, you must be living in a hole.


Hamish and Andy could host Big Brother. They'd make it funny. Mike, Bree and Fitzy can continue to host Friday Night Live. They always make that funny.
Omg, Rove could host Big Brother. That would be awesome. If Rove can make a show like 5th Grader interesting than SURELY he could make BB interesting, right?

Oh well. Channel Ten could always bring back The Mole. I miss that show. ;_;

Yesterday, I went to my school's Speech Night. There were speeches, awards and performances. The percussion performance was the best. It was so LOUD.
Anyway, when they got to the year 12 awards, normally they call the year 12's onto the stage individually.
But this year, they didn't. They just called the year 12's who won awards and such. All the rest of them just stood there, doin' nothing.
So that means, next year, I'll be up on stage but NO ONE WILL SAY MY NAME. No one will mis-pronounce my name on Speech Night. ;_;

Anyway, in lighter news, Pete and Ashlee have named their baby boy Bronx Mowgli Wentz. So the initials will be BMW.
My parents probably named me Laura Claire so that my initials could be LCD. And then, I'd be a TV and watch TV all day. Is that what my parents had in mind? Wow, aren't they kind?

AUS IDOL IS BORING. EXCEPT FOR THE TV WEEK BLOG.

I have read the TV Week blog. She makes Australian Idol seem so interesting even though the actual show is TOTALLY boring and I would never watch it ever.

TRANSITION. X]

Well, I had mah first day of Transition To Year 12 today.
We had Chemisty where we learnt about gases. I finally understood something in Chemistry because we had a different teacher. =]
Then we had Accounting and I got an A in my exam. 84%. WOW.
After that, we had English. I have about three friends in my class so that makes a big difference from last year when I only had one. ALSO: I have a better English teacher. I think.

After lunch, we had Specialist Maths. And we did some Math Methods Calculus stuff. The limit does not exist. (Quoting Mean Girls is fun).

That was the end of the day. AND GUESS WHAT? Only 3 more days till the weekend! (Because I get to have Friday off because Speech Night is on Friday night!)
My friends probably have to go to school that day (cos they are all nerds who get awards every year) so HA!

Also, TV Week blog is FANTASTIC. So is William Kostakis' first blog. ^_^

Life is good. (I have an LG TV so I kinda have to believe that, lol)

Anyway, I am going to the advanced screening of Twilight on December 3rd. SO GOOD.

Someone at my school went to the Chris Brown/Rihanna concert. CBro (I just made up a nickname for him, lol) invited about 7 peeps on stage (five girls and two boys) and they did some singing with Chris Brown on stage or something.
And then, before the peeps went off stage, CBro hugged them and one of the girls went a bit further and decided to grope his.. stuff.
I don't even like CBro and I still think it was totally inappropriate. EW.

I watched 5th Grader last night.
The kids graduated from the class. They got a $10,000 scholarship to a university for when they are older. I don't think $10,000 will get them far in a university but oh well.

Yesterday, I went to Subway and got four cookies.
It was FABULOUS.
I just sat there eating cookies. And everyone was like, "How many cookies did you get O_O?"
And I was like, "Lots. ^_^"

Subway cookies are teh best. X]

THREE MORE EXAMS TO GO. X]

I had two Maths exams today. EW.
One of them was General Specialist - with calculators. Gosh, there were some REALLY difficult questions on there. Not even my calculator knew what to do.

The other exam was Math Methods - without calculators. It was pretty good. I stuffed up one question cos I didn't know what to do because I was away for the lesson when the teacher taught it. X'[
But yeah. Other than that, it was fabulous. ^_^

Chemistry and General Specialist - No Calculator exams are tomorrow. They are the two exams I am dreading. SRSLY.
Oh well. I shall study and try mah best. Except I have totally forgotten all the formulas for Sequences and Series. EPIC FAIL.

Anyway, today I was in a newsagent reading the latest Dolly or Girlfriend magazine (as I am too much of a cheapskate to buy it) and it said there was something about Ryan Shelton in there. So I read the whole magazine about 200 million times and there wasn't a single mention about Ryan Shelton! THAT'S FALSE ADVERTISING. Luckily, I didn't buy the magazine because I wouldn't have liked a Ryan-Shelton-less-magazine, anyway.

Rove is ending on Sunday. It better come back on next year or I'll burn down the Channel Ten studios. And I'll make sure the Australian Idol people are burnt down too. ESPECIALLY KYLE. And all the other Big Brother people.

Speaking of Big Brother, apparently Channel Ten are putting on a reality TV show that is kinda like Australian Idol except instead of choosing a singer, they'll choose the best chef.
I think the chef reality show will replace Big Brother.
And I will only watch the chef reality show IF there is a hot, young, single guy as one of the contestants. Am I asking too much? MAYBE.

I can't wait for SYTYCD Australia to come back. Natalie Bassingthwaite FTW.
